Get MAPQUEST Driving Directions and Maps

Go to the
MAPQUEST Web Site
for the best directions.

Enter your Starting Address (Street Address, City, and State).
(If you are arriving at an airport, just enter your arrival City and State,
to get directions from the center of that city to Badger Flat.)

The Ending Address has been pre-filled in (Mono Hot Spring, CA).

Click on "Get Directions."

This will give you detailed step-by-step directions that take you right by
Badger Flat.
(You can add a small map to each step by clicking on "Map".)

Print the MAPQUEST directions and bring them with you.

Last Steps of Directions

Look for one of the last steps of the MAPQUEST directions that says
"Turn RIGHT onto KAISER PASS RD."
-
You make that turn onto KAISER PASS RD right after crossing over Rancheria
Creek and after that pass by the ranger station on your right.

About five miles later,
on the right side is the
U.S. Forest Service sign "BADGER FLAT CAMPGROUND."
DON'T TURN THERE!!! (That is the entrance to the Family Campground, not our campground).

CONTINUE on Kaiser Pass Road about 100 yards past that sign.

The next sign on the right is for
"BADGER FLAT GROUP CAMPGROUND", our campground.

TURN RIGHT and follow the gravel road, which goes over a stream.
(If you miss the Group Campground turnoff, you'll reach a shart right turn where
Kaiser Pass Road narrows to one lane.
You have GONE TOO FAR. Turn back and find the Group Campground.)

A short distance on the gravel road after going over the stream, TURN RIGHT down a dirt road into our campground.
