High in the Sierra Nevada mountains about 60 miles east of Fresno,
Badger Flat is close to Huntington Lake. It's surrounded with
stunning vistas of the majestic mountains covered with pine forests
and dotted with crystal blue lakes.
The campground lies on a stream that flows through towering pines and large rock formations. Badger features a natural amphitheater where the evening's program is presented, two huge open fire pits, outhouses and plenty of other amenities. The club has held its main run at this site for 46 years. It's been such a popular event that at times attendance has far exceeded the club's maximum expectations. |
